Petar Mijović


Petar Mijović is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach who currently serves as the head coach for Budućnost of the ABA League, the EuroCup and the Montenegrin League.

Coaching career

Mijović coached Podgorica, Zeta 2011, Bashkimi Prizren, and Sigal Prishtina.

Budućnost (2017–present)

In 2017, Mijović joined the coaching staff of Budućnost as the head U19 coach. In the next season, he was added to the senior team staff.
On 24 April 2019, following resignation of Jasmin Repeša after a loss in the ABA League Finals, Mijović was named the new head coach for Budućnost. On 20 June 2019, his position took Slobodan Subotić.
On 19 October 2019, Subotić resigned and Mijović was named the head coach for Budućnost for the second time in his head coaching career. In June 2020, he signed with Budućnost for the 2020–21 season.
