Perry Township, Clinton County, Indiana
Perry Township is one of fourteen townships in Clinton County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,459 and it contained 606 housing units. The township was named for Oliver Hazard Perry, an American naval officer in the War of 1812.History
The first white settler to arrive in what would become Perry Township was Elijah Rogers who erected a log cabin in 1827. The township was established in September, 1834, created from a portion of Washington Township.Geography
