Perin Jamsetjee Mistri was an Indian architect, believed to have been the first woman to qualify as an architect in India.Life
Born of a Parsi family, Perin Jamsetjee Mistri was educated in England at Croydon High School. Upon her return to Bombay, she joined the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy School of Art, gaining an architecture diploma in 1936. She joined her father's firm of architects in 1937, eventually becoming a partner.
Her works included a bungalow for Sir Behramji Karanjia at Carmichael Road and St. Stephen's Church.
