Paul Peck


Paul Peck was an early U.S. aviator who died in a plane crash. Before his death, Peck's nineteen year old wife Ruth died in the birth of a son. When Peck was killed, the boy was left with his grandparents. The child died in 1918 in the Spanish influenza pandemic. As an aviator, Peck set altitude records, flew planes designed by Rex Smith and flew at the historic College Park Airport, the oldest continuously operating airport in the world
