Paul Novotny

Novotny graduated from Elk River High School in 1983. He attended North Hennepin Community College, graduating with an A.A.S. in law enforcement.
Novotny has worked as a police officer in Princeton, Minnesota. He has been a deputy for the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office since 1989 and will retire in May 2020.Novotny was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in a special election in 2020.Novotny and his wife, Nicole, have two daughters. He resides in Elk River, Minnesota.
