Paris High School (Paris, Kentucky)


Paris High School is one of the two public high schools in Paris, Kentucky, United States. Paris High School serves 219 students in grades 9-12. Paris is a relatively small high school, but is well known for diversity. The school was integrated in 1963 and the students of Paris Western transferred in the next year. Paris Independent Schools has a long tradition of educating children in Paris and Bourbon County. Beginning in 1798 as the Bourbon Academy, and changing its name to Paris City School in 1865, the tradition of creating "life-long learners", who contribute to society, still holds true today.
