Paramilitary forces of India
The term "Paramilitary force" in India has not been defined in any acts or by authorities officially.
Following seven forces which come under Ministry of Home Affairs considered paramilitary forces, but from March 2011 have been reclassified as Central Armed Police Forces to avoid confusion
