History and background

Introduced in 2005, the brand was created by Ernesto Padilla and is manufactured at Tabacalera Oliva Tabolisa in Estelí, Nicaragua under the supervision of Gilberto Oliva. Ernesto Padilla announced the Padilla Habano was to be discontinued in early 2011.

Award, honors, ratings

Medium strength cigars, the wrapper is Cuban Habano leaf, aged for five years; the binder and filler are Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigars are packed in varnished boxes, 20 per box. The band, artwork and packaging, which were redesigned in 2006, are the work of Ernesto Padilla.
