Péri Cochin


Périhane Chalabi Cochin is a French TV host with Lebanese origins. She was born in Beirut on May 28, 1965. She left Lebanon for France in 1975 when the Lebanese Civil War broke.
She studied in french boarding schools and became architect.
She founded La Tarte aux Bonbons with 2500 points of sales.
She started a TV host career on France 2 as co-host in a very popular show "On a tout essayer".
Then she had her own show on M6.
She started producing TV shows in 2005 in the Middle East. Became one of the leading producers in the region.
In 2016 She started working in Africa and produced successfully Africa's Got Talent for 22 French speaking countries, 6 broadcasters including Canal+.
She created 1 Picasso for 100 euros. A charity raffle to raise funds for different causes.
First edition was in 2013.
Second edition launched in 2019.

Life

She lives in Paris where she married Guillaume Cochin, a French architect. She has 4 sons. Although she also studied architecture, Péri Cochin has been involved in many other businesses. In 2001, she started to work as a TV host in “On a tout essayé”, a French TV show broadcast on France 2.
Péri Cochin also produces adaptations of French TV shows for the Arab world. Most of these shows are recorded in Lebanon and then broadcast by satellite in all Arab countries.
