Olivia Moultrie


Olivia Moultrie is an American soccer player. She is the youngest American women’s soccer player to turn pro, doing so in 2019 at the age of 13. She was also the youngest player to commit to a college team and accept a scholarship offer at the age of 11.
Moultrie is from Canyon Country, California and started training in soccer when she was 4 years old. By fifth grade she was home schooled so that she could focus on soccer and she became the first girl on a boy’s club team to play in the United States Development Academy system. She has trained in Europe with clubs including Bayern Munich, Olympique Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain. At 11 she accepted a full scholarship to play soccer for The University of North Carolina when she reached college age. She was the youngest girls’ soccer player to publicly accept a college offer at the time. She is now the youngest girls’ soccer player to pass up her college eligibility in favor of turning pro.
In February 2019 she announced that she was turning professional, having signed a representation deal with the Wasserman Media Group. She has signed with Nike to a multiyear endorsement arrangement.
Moultrie had a small role in Nike’s all-women "Dream Crazier" commercial which debuted at the 2019 Academy Awards and was narrated by Serena Williams. She is now on the Portland Thorns FC. Olivia Moultrie currently plays on the top Thorns academy team.
