Olive barb
The olive barb is a species of cyprinid fish native to Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan and Sri Lanka with reports also from Thailand and Myanmar. This species can reach a length of TL. It is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries as well as being sought after as a gamefish. However, it is highly sought after in Bangladesh. It can also be found in the aquarium trade though it is not very popular.
