Sandhya, a young medical student falls deeply in love at first sight with Surya who is a youngster with political aspirations. Surya does small-time ‘settlements’ as he awaits a chance to contest at the local elections. Sandhya understands that the path ahead of her is not easy when she sees Surya roughing up people every now and then. Her mother suggests surya to leave politics for her daughter but Surya would not listen that and follows his path because his father dream is his son to become a M.L.A. Then one day a settlement which became a serious issue which leads to file a case on Surya for S.C, S.T Atrocities and he was arrested on that charges. After knowing Surya's arrest Sandya decides to wait for him but her mother convinced her to shift from Vijaya nagaram to vizag on hope to forget Surya. 3 years Later with the help of his uncle who is a M.L.A belongs toopposition party in vizag using his high influence Surya came out on bail and tries to make a settlement to cancel the case on him. he came to know that one of his friend back stabs him for his political aspirations and becomes an approver. Now he became a municipal chairman to vijaya nagaram district then Surya meets him in the settlement finally it leads to a fight and the situation became worse later Surya's father appoints Satya a practical man with no sentiments as a personal to look him up but they become good friends rather than a boss and employee because of Satya's straight forward nature and his loyalty towards him. Later in Vizag Surya meets Sandya then he advises Sandya to leave him because of his situation there is no guarantee on his future but Sandya refuses to leave him and replies that she will wait for him for her entire life. Then Satya supports her decision and advises Surya keep it as a secret till the problem solves. Then Surya and Sandya starts a live-in relationship without her mothers will. Later Surya started helping to his uncle's election campaign. Later in an election campaign a person protested violently against Surya's uncle who once expected a M.L.A ticket but he refused to give him because under the grounds of financial backup. Then Surya protected his uncle and beats him badly Satya understands that he is showing his frustration on him because of Sandya. Impressed by his caring Surya's uncle gives him an opportunity to contest as M.L.A and he readys to give his political heir to Surya on the condition to marry his daughter a spoilt brat and a divorcee. Then Surya's father and Satya supports this and tries to convince Surya for the marriage for solving his cases and to achieve his ambition. Surya feels betraying Sandya but remembers his father's dream and lies her that his bail was canceled and instructs to start a new life but Sandya didn't listen his words and tells him that she will wait for him forever. Later through Surya's father she came to know his situation. Then Sandya decides to leave him and puts the conditions to Surya that he must achieve his ambition and she wanna spend some time with him for a couple of days he accepts. After 2 days in the morning Surya tries to wake her up on the bed and realised that she committed suicide. He found a note besides her which tells him that she had fulfilled her dreams with him and she will wait for him in the next life. Finally the films ends up with Surya remembers her memories on her grave.
