Official Opposition frontbench


The frontbench of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition in the Parliament of the United Kingdom consists of the Shadow Cabinet and other official shadow ministers of the political party currently serving as the Official Opposition. Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition is currently the Labour Party, and the Leader of the Opposition is Keir Starmer.

, former General Secretary of the Labour Party, was originally appointed as an Opposition Whip in the Lords, but stood down pending the results of the independent investigation commissioned by Sir Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner due to allegations that in various WhatsApp message group transcripts set out in a leaked report from the Labour Party that he was engaged in conduct seeking to undermine the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader.
