Ochre-bellied dove


The ochre-bellied dove or Buff Bellied Dove is a species of bird in the family Columbidae. It is found in Ecuador and Peru.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
It is threatened by habitat loss and decreasing in population.
It is a principally ground dwelling species, generally solitary or found in pairs, with some observations ranging up to seven in a group. They live for an average of 4.2 years. Little information is known about this species activity.
