Obeth Kandjoze
Obeth Mbuipaha Kandjoze is a Namibian politician of the ruling SWAPO Party. He has been Minister of Mining and Energy in the Hage Geingob Cabinet since 2015. In a Cabinet reshuffle in February 2018 he swapped positions with Tom Alweendo and is since the and has been Minister in charge of the National Planning Commission.
Kandjoze has worked for the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia since 1999 and was its CEO from 2012. He holds a Master of Science degree in geology from the University of Helsinki, Finland, a Bachelor of Science degree, also in geology, from the University of Cape Town.
