North Cache 8-9 Center

North Cache Middle School is a school located in Richmond, Utah, United States. The school covers an area ranging from Richmond all the way up to the north border of Cache Valley, and west to Clarkston including Lewiston, Cornish, Trenton and Cove, Utah. Recently the school district changed things up by moving 9th graders up to the high schools. This made the North Cache 8-9 Center into the North Cache Middle School, accepting 7th and 8th graders only.

History

North Cache is not what the school was originally called, and eighth and ninth graders are not the students it originally housed. In the early 1900s, it was known as North Cache High School. In 1964 it became North Cache Junior High. In 1983, it became North Cache Middle School. In 1994 it was renamed into North Cache Freshman Center, because only ninth graders were in attendance. Then it went to North Cache 8th and 9th Center. In 2017 it was renamed to North Cache Middle School because of changes to 7th and 8th Grade to North Cache.
