"Noir" was written by Sunmi and produced by EL CAPITXN. The title of the song literally translates to black in French, but can also refer to Noir fiction, a subgenre of crime fiction characterized by its bleak and nihilistic tone.It is described as a "electronic retro dance fusion with dreamy synths, disco drums, and trendy 808 bass".
