Netaji Subhas University of Technology


Netaji Subhas University of Technology, formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is a state university located in Dwarka, New Delhi, India. Following the conversion of the Delhi College of Engineering into Delhi Technological University, Cluster Innovation Centre and NSIT were the only engineering institutions under the University of Delhi. In 2018, the institute was given university status, thus changing its name to Netaji Subhas University of Technology.

Campus

NSIT has a fully residential campus on 145 acres of land. Campus facilities include faculty and staff residences, student hostels, cooperative mess and a sports complex. The campus is divided into clusters of buildings. The administrative block contains the important offices, banks, a post office as well as an auditorium where major functions are held. The campus has four boys' hostels and two girls' hostels.

Rankings

Netaji Subhas University of Technology was ranked 11 in Outlook India "India's Top 150 Engineering Colleges in 2019" and 22 in The Week-Hansa Research "Best Colleges Survey 2019: Top Engineering Colleges - All India".
HackerRank published a list of top universities across the world with the best software developers and NSIT stood 12th on the list. Similarly, Hackerearth analyzed over 27 million code submissions and 700 programming challenges on its platform and placed NSUT second in India.
