Neethikku Thandanai


Neethikku Thandanai is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by S. S. Neelakantan and Shoba Chandrasekhar. The film stars Raadhika, Nizhalgal Ravi, Charan Raj and Senthil in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. The film was remade in Telugu as Nyayaniki Siksha, in Hindi as Kudrat Ka Kanoon and in Kannada as Nyayakke Sikshe.

Cast

The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Singer Swarnalatha, who made her debut with the song "Chinnanchiru Kiliye", was chosen to sing the song by M. S. Viswanathan after he was impressed with her rendition of "Paal Polave", which he had asked her to sing during the song's audition.

Reception

The Indian Express wrote "story and narration are mired in preposterous situations".

Political Controversy

This film got caught into a political controversy as the dialogues for this film were by the former Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi. The then ruling party AIADMK, Chief Minister M.G.Ramachandran tried to halt the release by filing a case that it may disrupt law-and-order situation in Tamil Nadu but overcame the case.
