Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 191 people, 62 households, and 53 families residing in the town. The population density was 288.4 people per square mile. There were 70 housing units at an average density of 105.7 per square mile. The racial makeup of the town was 95.29% White, 2.09% African American, 2.09% Native American and 0.52% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.09% of the population.
There were 62 households out of which 46.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.6% were married couples living together, 11.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.5% were non-families. 14.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.08 and the average family size was 3.40.
In the town, the population was spread out with 36.1% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 18.8% from 45 to 64, and 9.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females, there were 130.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 106.8 males.
