Native American Preparatory School

The Native American Preparatory School was a residential preparatory school located in Rowe, New Mexico. Publisher Richard Ettinger, son of the founder of Prentice Hall, established the school in 1995 with the goal of increasing the number of Native American students attending Ivy League colleges. The school was the only intertribal, privately funded preparatory school for Native Americans in the United States. All students attending received full scholarships.
The school closed in 2002 due to financial pressures.
