National Institute of Business Management (Sri Lanka)


The National Institute of Business Management is a Sri Lankan business school. It is a collaboration with the UNDP, with the ILO functioning as the executing agency. On 1 June 1976, the Institute was incorporated as the National Institute of Business Management.

Divisions

The School of Computing handles Computer training, which consists basically of two Diploma programs, a Degree program and several Certificate level programs. The major Computer programs of the NIBM consists of a One-year Diploma in Computer System Design and a two-year program leading to a Higher Diploma in Computer Based Information Systems. A B.Sc. degree program was commenced in 1996 in collaboration with University College Dublin at the National University of Ireland.

School of Business

School of Business conducts programmes in Business Management. Main two courses are the B.Sc. In Business Management Degree which is approved by the University Grants Commission and the BSc. In Business Management Degree which is affiliated to the University College Dublin.
