Nalgonda Public School


The Nalgonda Public School, is a private school located in Meerbagh Colony, Nalgonda, India. It was started in 1985 by the Dynamic Educational Society headed by Mr. Bheemaiah Jagini. In Feb 2010, the school celebrated its 25th anniversary.

About the school

Cubs High School was the vision of Mr. Bheemaiah Jagini. Together with Mr. Amarender Rao, Mr. Ram Mohan Rao and Mr. Venkat Narayana Goud this vision became a reality in 1985, which later has been changed to The Nalgonda Public School in 1985 run by the Dynamic Educational Society since then.
The school is English medium co-educational, affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
The school uses Telugu from Class 1 as a 2nd choice. In Class 9, students study Telugu or Hindi as their 2nd language. The school follows the NCERT curriculam.
Morning assembly includes school prayer, pledge and Vande Mataram followed by News Headlines and Enrichment program.
Nalgonda Public School fosters competition and team spirit among the students by conducting competitions in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. For this purpose the school is divided into four Houses - Red, Yellow, Blue and Green. Each House is under the charge of a House Master/Teacher, a House Captain. They coordinate Discipline, conduct competitions, etc. In the 2nd month of the academic year, students are placed into one of the four houses.
At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup.
