Mubarak Mosque (Tilford)


The Mubarak Mosque is a mosque in Tilford, Surrey, England. It currently serves as the mosque on the site of the international headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, known as Islamabad. It was inaugurated on 17 May 2019 by Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth caliph of the Ahmadiyya Movement.

Since the principal headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the city, town or place where the caliph of the movement resides, the Fazl Mosque in London, England had served as its de facto international headquarters following the forced exile of Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the fourth caliph, from Pakistan in 1984. Originally named Sheephatch Farm, between 1985 and 2004 the Islamabad site was used for the annual convention of Ahmadis until it was moved to Hadiqat-ul-Mahdi near Alton. Following the fifth caliph, Mirza Masroor Ahmad's move to Islamabad in 2019, it serves as the international headquarters and administrative centre of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide, replacing the Fazl Mosque, with facilities including:
