Juniors
Moonee Valley has a strong junior section in which they field teams in the Under 10's, 12's, 14's and 16's. In 2012 after losing to the undefeated Pascoe Vale Football Club by over 90 points in the semi-final, Moonee Valley went on to beat them in the Grand Final by 7 points winning their first Under 16 Division 2 Premiership since 2001.
Seniors
The Senior side was particularly strong during the early 1950s, winning an A Grade Premiership in 1952. After winning the B Grade premiership in 1994 the seniors acquitted themselves well in A Grade the next year, ultimately finishing 4th on the ladder. One of the most noteworthy seasons in Moonee Valley's history came in 1999 when both the Seniors and Reserves won the B Grade Premiership. The seniors held their own in A Grade for the next few seasons before succumbing to relegation back to B Grade in 2005. In 2012 with the split of the B Grade competition, Moonee Valley moved into the newly formed C Grade competition. The Under 18's have had success as well, they have won one A Grade Premiership, two B Grade Premierships and one C Grade Premiership. The most recent of which came in the 2018 season that saw them go undefeated, beating the Northern Saints Football Club by 43 points on the final day.
