Mollie King was an American stage and screen actress.

Biography

King began her career on stage, appearing in productions at the Winter Garden in New York from the age of 16. She also starred in Broadway musicals. She signed with Pathé before moving into film acting. She was cast in leading roles in two John M. Stahl directed films, and also starred in serials. George Irving directed her in the film Her Majesty. She later returned to the stage, appearing with her brother Charles King in a musical comedy Good Morning, Judge.

King's siblings Charles King and Nellie King were also actors.

King married Kentucky distiller Kenneth D. Alexander. She married a second time to Thomas Claffey. She died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx, New York.
