Mireille Fanon Mendès-France


Mireille Fanon Mendès-France is a professor at Paris Descartes University and was a visiting professor at the University of California, Berkeley, in international law and conflict resolution. She has also worked for UNESCO and the French National Assembly and was an expert for the United Nations Working Group on People of African Descent and was their President from 2014 to 2016.
Her father, Frantz Fanon, was born in Martinique, which at the time was a French colony.
