Minister for Counter Terrorism and Corrections


The New South Wales Minister for Counter Terrorism and Corrections is a minister of the Government of New South Wales who is commissioned with responsibility for the administration of correctional services, juvenile justice, prisons, veterans' affairs and counter terrorism in New South Wales, Australia. The position supports the Attorney General and is sometimes, although not always, held concurrently with that office.
The current Minister for Corrections is The Honourable Anthony Roberts, since 2 April 2019. The minister administers the portfolio through the Family and Community Services and Justice cluster, in particular through the Department of Family and Community Services and Justice, a department of the Government of New South Wales, and additional agencies.
Ultimately the minister is responsible to Parliament of New South Wales.
