Mieczysław Dębicki
Mieczysław Dębicki - military officer. He was born on September 4, 1926 in Pykulovychi and died on March 7, 2001 in Warsaw. He graduated from the Akademia Sztabu Generalnego. He was awarded the Cross of Valour, the Medal of the 40th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Bronze Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Gold Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Medal of the 10th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Medal "For Strengthening of Brotherhood in Arms", the Jubilee Medal "Forty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Silver Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Medal of the 30th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Order of the Cross of Grunwald, 3rd class, the Medal "For Oder, Nysa and the Baltic".
