Middleton-on-Leven


Middleton-on-Leven is a hamlet and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated next to the River Leven, on the outskirts of the village of Hutton Rudby and south-west of Yarm. In the 2001 census, Middleton-on-Leven had a population of 97. At the 2011 Census the population remained at less than 100. Details are included in the civil parish of Rudby.
Half a mile to the north-west at Castle Hill is the surviving motte of Castle Levington.
