Career

In the beginning of 1990, Jens Thele, who then worked for Edel Records, offered Simon a publishing deal at Warner Chappell/Loop Dance Construction. Later Jens Thele founded the Label Kontor Records together with Simon's later band colleagues H.P. Baxxter and Rick J. Jordan. Thele signed a couple of Simon's productions. He also had some major hits with his friend Jerry Ropero, an icon in the worldwide house music scene. They worked for most of the known music labels under several pseudonyms like Combo Cubano.
Simon is the owner of three record labels: Aversion Records, Superlovemusic, and Efectiva Records, where he supports young artists.
His work with Scooter includes The Ultimate Aural Orgasm, Jumping All Over The World, Under The Radar Over The Top, The Big Mash Up, Music for a Big Night Out, The Fifth Chapter, Ace and Scooter Forever.
