Michael Sheridan (Irish politician)


Michael Sheridan was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. A farmer, he was first elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil Teachta Dála for the Cavan constituency at the 1933 general election. He was re-elected at each subsequent general election until 1961, when he retired from politics.
His brother Seán Sheridan was an active Volunteer during the Civil War and was a founder member and organiser for Fianna Fáil in County Cavan.
