Michael Nolin


Michael Nolin is a former American motion picture producer, former studio executive and former writer/director.

Biography

Nolin went to film school at the University of Southern California and began his career as a clerk typist in the MGM story department. Eventually he served stints as a Vice President at Columbia Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
In 2001, he was invited to join the faculty at Brooklyn College by Dan Gurskis and in 2003, he became a Professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he teaches writing, producing and film history classes and supervises the M.A. program in the School of Film and Television.

Production credits

His producing credits include Mr. Holland's Opus, Full Body Massage, the Independent Spirit Award-nominated 84 Charlie Mopic. He wrote and directed Wildly Available and co-wrote the teleplay for Maniac Magee.
