Michael Nath


Michael Nath is a British author and academic in the field of English Literature. His first novel, La Rochelle, was shortlisted for the 2011 James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction. His second, British Story: A Romance, was a Morning Star Book of the Year. It was described by The Times Literary Supplement as "a wonderful exercise in novelistic virtuosity, strange and beautiful." His most recent novel, The Treatment, was published by Quercus in early 2020.
Nath is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, London specialising in modernism and creative writing; his work has been featured by the Tate Gallery.
Nath lives in London with his wife, the neuroscientist Sarah Tabrizi.
