Michał Stryga
Michał Stryga - military officer. He was born on July 24, 1921 in Ternopil and died on April 28, 1993 in Warsaw. He graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He was awarded the Medal for fighting for Berlin, the Medal of the 40th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, the Medal of Victory and Freedom 1945, the Gold Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Medal of the 10th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Medal for Warsaw 1939-1945, the Silver Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Medal of the 30th Anniversary of People's Poland, the Bronze Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Medal "For Oder, Nysa and the Baltic".
