Michaël Dubuc


Michaël Dubuc is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player.

Playing career

Before playing professionally, Dubuc played five seasons with the QMJHL's Prince Edward Island Rocket and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, putting up 122 goals and 206 points in 231 games. Despite these numbers, he was never drafted by the NHL. Dubuc made his first professional appearance with the Hershey Bears in 2008–09, going scoreless in three games. He was then sent down to the South Carolina Stingrays, where he posted an impressive 35 goals and 23 assists in just 49 games. He started the next season with the Rays, playing 38 games with 13 goals before being called back up to the Bears, where he played 16 games with 5 goals.
His career ended fallowing a vicious hit in March 2011 in Trenton while he was playing for Elmira.
