Mehran Ghafourian


Mehran Ghafourian is an Iranian actor.
He was born in the Iranian capital, Tehran, but his father’s career as a naval officer saw him raised in the city of Sirjan for seven years. He is an Iranian actor, director and comedian. His father was a calligrapher, singer, painter and musician; therefore, he became interested in painting and attended the Technical School of Visual Arts and continued his higher education in painting.
Ghafourian’s first acting experience took place in Dariush Kardan’s comedic series ‘Festival 39’. He then found fame by directing and appearing in the series ‘Under the City Sky’. Ghafourian has acted in several series, such as ‘The Store’, ‘Night of the Fox’, ‘My Dad’s Inheritance’, ‘This New Year’, ‘Stepmother’, ‘A Way Out’, ‘Rental Home’, ‘Suitcase’, ‘Bad Days Pass’, and 'In Controversy.
He entered cinematic films by appearing in ‘Charlatan’. He has also taken part in a number of other movies, including ‘The Choice’, ‘The Wrong Woman’, ‘Milk and Honey’, ‘Wedding Rings’, ‘Combo Pizza’, and ‘The Carriage’.
