MazaCoin


MazaCoin is a cryptocurrency launched in 2014. Its developer Payu Harris promoted it as a potential future official currency of the Oglala Lakota tribe.

History

MazaCoin development was started by Harris in 2014. In October 2017, a Mashable article on the Oglala Lakota included a video about Harris's efforts to get MazaCoin accepted.

Technical details

The underlying software for MazaCoin is derived from that of another cryptocurrency, ZetaCoin, which in turn is based on bitcoin's SHA-256 proof of work system.
