Masadan


Masadan is a village in Suzak District of Jalal-Abad Region in Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 1,640 in 2009. It is the hometown of the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kurmanbek Bakiyev. Masadan is also called Teit. The village is located to the south-west of Jalal-Abad city, near the border with Uzbekistan.
