Mark Magsayo
Jessel Mark Araula Magsayo is a Filipino professional boxer who has held the WBC-ABC featherweight title since 2019.
Professional career
Early years
Magsayo began boxing when he was just 8 years old and by the time he had turned professional he had fought in around 200 amateur contests and was 4-time amateur boxing champion at the annual Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines national tournaments. In those 4 tournaments he claimed the title of "Best Boxer" twice and impressed those in attendance with entertaining fights due to Magsayo's Aggressive style. Being a Top Filipino boxing prospect coming from amateurs, Magsayo formally signed with ALA Promotions of Cebu in 2013. In June 2018 Magsayo signed to Now Boxing Promotions.Professional boxing record
