Marciszów


Marciszów is a village in Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district called Gmina Marciszów. It lies approximately north-west of Kamienna Góra and south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
During World War II the village was within the borders of Germany and known as Merzdorf. From 1944 to 1945, in the textile factory Kramsta-Methner, Jewish women from various concentration camps were imprisoned and used for forced labor.
