Manit Rastogi


Manit Rastogi is the Founder Partner of Morphogenesis, an architectural company involved in architecture and urban design practices. Manit is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects and the Royal Society of Arts, UK.
Manit has also been a director of Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon.

Education

Manit completed his Bachelor of Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He pursued an additional bachelor's degree and Masters in Environment & Energy Studies from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London.

Honours

His practice has won over 75 international and national awards, and is the first Indian practice to win a World Architecture Festival Award and the Singapore Institute of Architects Getz Award.

Professional activities

Manit is active in efforts towards reclaiming the Nullahs of Delhi and transforming them into a green and sustainable network. He has also presented a proposal for rock-cut architecture for Amarnath caves. He is a Founder member, Association for Development and Research of Sustainable Habitats, of the Technical Advisory Committee of Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment, and of the Resource Persons Group on Environment and Ecology- Lt. Governor's Secretariat, New Delhi,
