Man's World (magazine)

Man's World, known wider by the abbreviation MW, is India's leading men's luxury lifestyle magazine. It was launched in March 2000 by Anuradha Mahindra, wife of industrialist Anand Mahindra and was conceived by two leading city journalists working for Business India — Radhakrishnan Nair, who was then the executive editor of Business India, and Harsh Man Rai, who worked as creative director.
MW is India's definitive guide for the man with mettle. Be it the most exhaustive insights into fashion, lifestyle, cars, gizmos, sports, etiquette, books, films and television, theater, wine, food, music, fitness, adventure, travel and experiences, Man's World celebrates the quintessential world of a man on-the-go.
20 years into the journey, Man's World has served the country with much more than just forgettable pulpy articles to fill the pages, but consistently concentrated on writing interesting, well-researched, up-to-date and articulate articles for the thinking man.
The advertisements noted in Man's World tend to be the most prolific national, as well as international brands looking to build their reach and engagement in India. MW also serves as a production house to create both copy and video content entirely internally, for brands looking to build themselves end-to-end assets, collateral and reach across all marketing channels for the long haul.
According to Radhakrishnan, publisher and editor, "Man's World was conceived to be India's answer to the leading international men's magazines from around the world." He also states that the magazine was "essentially targeted at a generation of young men who were coming of age, benefiting from the fruits of economic liberalisation of the 1990s." In 2010, Radhakrishnan bought out the magazine from Mahindra.
MW India Pvt Ltd., has branched out into contract publishing. The company brings out magazines for several clients including a travel magazine for Club Mahindra,Lodha Group, and the inflight magazine of SpiceJet, called Spice Route and the erstwhile JetWings from the Jet Airways family.
