The racial makeup of the village was 97.8% White, 0.2% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.2% of the population. There were 384 households of which 34.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.5% were married couplesliving together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 30.7% were non-families. 26.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 12% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.08. The median age in the village was 38.9 years. 26% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.4% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 24.4% were from 25 to 44; 26.4% were from 45 to 64; and 14.9% were 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the village was 99.03% White, 0.54% African American, 0.21% Native American, and 0.21% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.72% of the population. There were 369 households out of which 30.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.7% were non-families. 24.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 3.00. In the village, the population was spread out with 25.8% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 30.9% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 16.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 100.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.3 males.
