Małujowice


Małujowice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately north-west of Skarbimierz, west of Brzeg, and north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.
The village has an approximate population of 430.

Battle of Mollwitz

In 1741, during the first of the Silesian Wars, Frederick the Great, of Prussia, defeated the Austrians in the Battle of Mollwitz, which took place here, cementing his conquest of Silesia from the Austrian Monarchy.
