MUSYCA Children's Choir MUSYCA Children's Choir is a vocal ensemble located in Los Angeles, California . It was founded in 2010 by Anna Krendel and Mikhail Shtangrud. MUSYCA is an acronym for Musical Youth of California.History MUSYCA is a 501 nonprofit organization , founded by Anna Krendel and Mikhail Shtangrud in 2010. It holds several community concerts every season, typically at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters. The choir has appeared in major concert halls , performed on live TV , worked with symphony orchestras , and recorded music for film and television. MUSYCA has six divisions: Kinderchoir, Junior Chorus, Melody Choir, Harmony Ensemble, Young Men’s Chorus, and the Chamber Singers .
