Lucius Mamilius Vitulus
Lucius Mamilius Vitulus was a Roman politician of the third century BC. He was brother of Quintus Mamilius Vitulus, consul in 262 BC.
His family, Mamilia, plebeian, was a native of the princely family of Tusculum.
In 265 BC, before the beginning of the First Punic War, he was elected consul. While his colleague, Quintus Fabius Maximus Gurges, died of a wounds received in battle, Vitulus remained alone in his office.
