List of people who have accepted Golden Raspberry Awards

Although most winners do not attend the Golden Raspberry Awards ceremony or accept their award given the "Razzies" single out the worst films of the year, there have been some exceptions. According to Razzies tradition the ceremony precedes the corresponding Academy Award function by one day, though this did not occur with the 40th Golden Raspberry Awards, for which the nominees were instead announced the day before the Oscars, with the ceremony itself scheduled for a month later.
In 1988, comedian Bill Cosby became the first to accept an award; he received his award for Leonard Part 6 on a late-night show on Fox. Director Paul Verhoeven became the first recipient to claim his award in person, when he accepted Worst Picture and Worst Director awards for his 1995 film Showgirls. J. David Shapiro is the only winner to have received awards in person in two different ceremonies, though both wins were for the same film, Battlefield Earth: he first accepted the award for Worst Screenplay in 2001, and then the award for Worst Picture of the Decade in 2010.
