, the 44th president of the United States, made 52 international trips to 58 different countries during his presidency, which began on January 20, 2009 and ended on January 20, 2017. He set the record as the most-traveled president for any first year in office. Obama made ten trips to 21 countries and was out of the U.S. a total of 40 days.
