Licensing Executives Society-Arab Countries


The Licensing Executives Society-Arab Countries is an Arab professional body concerned with Licensing and Technology Transfer issues, which aims at providing technical assistance to specialists and interested parties in the Arab countries.

Establishment

The Licensing Executives Society-Arab Countries was established under the name "Arab Licensing and Technology Transfer Society " in 1997 and since its establishment, ALTTS had worked hard to join the Licensing Executives Society International in order to acquire an international attribute through its in a specialized international society. The efforts exerted were successful and the Society joined LESI in 1998. Accordingly, the new name of the Society became the Licensing Executives Society–Arab Countries .

Objectives

LES International is a non-profit society that seeks to coordinate international efforts in the field of Licensing and Technology Transfer. This international society comprises thirty one national and regional societies, where LES-AC represents all 22 Arab countries in addition to Iran, Turkey and Pakistan.
LES-AC is committed to provide the Arab world with professional executives in the fields of Licensing and Technology Transfer as well as developing the economic growth by encouraging, facilitating and enforcing Intellectual Property Licensing and Research and Development investment.
The Society arranges several conferences, seminars, workshops and lectures aiming at increasing the awareness and educating the business community in the fields of Licensing, Technology Transfer, Intellectual Asset Management and Franchising in addition to publishing and translating related books and studies.

"ACIPLP" Certificate

The Arab Certified IP Licensing Practitioner "ACIPLP" certificate program is the only program of its kind in the Arab world that is accredited by the Licensing Executives Society International and designed to give participants a solid foundation to build a successful career in the profession of Licensing and Intellectual Asset Management, as well as connecting principles to practice.
